Fireworks Salad

We love to play with our food. This salad is really an edible picture of a sky full of fireworks. You'll see that Livvy and Sade have very different ideas of what that would look like. Your salad will be your individual creation too.

We chose the ingredients for their crunch (broccoli slaw and pepper strips) and their sizzle (mixed sprouts) when they hit your tongue. The little extra pop of the radish sprouts in mix is a culinary explosion!

Makes 6-8 salads

You'll need:

• Cherry tomatoes - cut in half
• Sweet peppers - cut in 1/4 inch strips
• Brassica Salad Mix or Brocco Sprouts
• 1 bag of broccoli slaw
• Other raw veggies of your choice
• Your favorite salad dressing
• A little adult help

Equipment:

• Plates

1. When all the veggies are washed and cut, arrange them the way you would paints.
2. The plate is your blank canvas. So "paint" a picture of the night sky with fireworks exploding. Make a different picture for each guest or make them all match. It's up to you.
3. Serve the salads with your favorite dressing.
