Old Fashioned Lemonade

You'll need:

  • 6 lemons cut in half
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of hot water
  • 4 cups of cold water

Equipment:

  • Citrus squeezer
  • Measuring cups
  • A pitcher
  1. Begin by squeezing the lemons. Put the cut side down on the citrus squeezer and use a pushing, twisting motion to get all the juice out of the lemon half.
  2. Next, put 1/4 cup of sugar into your pitcher. Pour the 1/4 cup of hot water into the pitcher with it and stir until the sugar crystals are dissolved.
  3. Now, slowly pour the cold water and give the lemonade another quick stir.
  4. Put ice in a glass and pour the lemonade over it.

Take a sip! It will be tart and sweet.
