"I'm 61 and just a average cook. I figured if you girls could cook, then so could I. I have enjoyed your cookbook, it's easy to use.

"My niece is 9 and my sister told me she is interested in making meals for dinner. They love this cookbook and I knew they would. The recipes are varied and exactly what she was looking for; many dinner recipes, not just snacks and lunches."

"It provides a great launching pad for kids 8 and up who want to learn to cook. Most of the recipes seem quite nutritious and healthy. Of course, my picky eater first gravitated toward the "weiner weenie dogs" which is probably the least healthy recipe in the book. But the cute weenie dogs at least have tomato and pepper heads. We are taking small steps here, and stoking her interest in cooking with a whole book of recipes she can make is a tremendous gift.
So I would skip over the "sneaky"and "deceptive" cookbooks that show parents how to hide fruits and veggie purees in recipes, and head for the Spatulatta Cookbook that will allow your kids to get involved. Working with a grownup, any age kid can help!"

"I came across this cookbook when my kids had a book fair in their school. Since my daughter, who is 5yrs old, loves to help me making dinner, I thought this will be great gift for her. On that same night, I flipped through the pages and found so many good recipes for kids. I decided to keep it for myself. It became one of my favorite kids’ cookbooks."

I'm a cookbook collector from way, way back, and I count the Spatulatta Cookbook as one of my favorites. It's not just kid friendly. It's grandma (or grandpa!) friendly, too. Filled with wonderful recipes and all kinds of practical tips, the cookbook is delightful to use. One feels as if those darling little authors, Olivia and Isabella, are right beside you the whole way.

"The Spatulatta Cookbook by Isabela and Olivia Gerasole is a creative, unique cookbook full of visual aid pictures showing the end result of each recipe. Not only is it terrific for the young ones but for the beginning adults. The show and tell approach throughout the book and the glossary explanations are excellent."
