A family tradition with the Big Hair Girls, this is the classic green bean casserole that graces Thanksgiving and Christmas tables in homes across the nation.

{Makes 8 servings}

You'll need:

  • 1 bag of frozen French-style green beans
  • 1 can of French fried onions
  • 1 can of Campbells's Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1/8 teaspoon of pepper
  • 3/4 cup of milk
  • A little adult help

Equipment:

  • A colander
  • A large bowl
  • A casserole dish 
  1. Rinse green beans in hot water until defrosted, then let drain.
  2. Mix the milk, pepper and soup together in a bowl.
  3. Put a layer of sauce on the bottom of the casserole dish. Then cover with a layer of green beans. Repeat until all the sauce and beans are in the casserole.
  4. Put the French fried onions on top.
  5. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
