Our Teddy Bears have been so good and so patient waiting around for us
to get home from school that we decided to throw a tea party them.
You'll need:
Tea pot (optional)
Tea cups and saucers
Napkins
A tablecloth or placemats
Teaspoons and butter knives
Butter or creamcheese for the bread
Teddy Bear guests
A little adult help
We chose a tablecloth that was pretty and washable. The washable
part is important because we like to have tea parties and we don't want
mom to stress out. We found ours at a garage sale. It has a couple of
spots but if you put the dishes down in the right places no one will
notice.
We put out the sandwich plates and the
teacups and saucers our grandmother gave us. We added folded napkins to
the right of the plates. Then we laid down the butter knives closest to
the plates (with the cutting edge of the blade facing toward the plate)
and then the teaspoons next to the knives.
All that's left to do is pull up extra chairs for your Teddy Bears and have fun.
