Spider Sandwiches Print E-mail
TROUBLE SEEING OUR VIDEO?

Spiders for an appetizer or spiders for a snack? You choose.

These cute little guys are creepy crawlers designed to jump in your mouth.

They can be made with peanut butter, hummos or spreadable cheese. Just remember to ask your guests if anyone has allergies. If you have guests who have are allergic to peanuts or milk, stick to hummos.

{Makes 1 dozen mini-sandwiches}

You'll need:

  • 24 round crackers
  • A bag of pretzel sticks
  • Peanut butter, hummos or spreadable cheese
  • A small box of raisins
  • Some adult help

Equipment:

  • A butter knife
  • A serving plate
      1. Take one cracker, spread some peanut butter on it.
      2. Select four pretzel sticks and break them in half.
      3. Arrange the "legs," four on each side.
      4. Put a dab of peanut butter on top of the legs and place another cracker on top.
      5. Use a dab of peanut butter to paste two raisins for eyes. We know spiders have eight eyes but eight raisins just won't fit.
      6. Arrange the spiders on a plate and you're ready to serve.
